THE SCIENCE BEHIND SUPERTEETH DENTAL PROBIOTIC + ENT

SuperTeeth Dental Probiotic + ENT includes all of the targeted oral health bacterial strains that our traditional Dental Probiotic does plus Streptococcus salivarius K12, a probiotic strain that can help improve ear, nose, throat and upper respiratory health.

If you frequently get sick, or get a secondary infection from the common cold, your immune system may be lacking proper beneficial bacteria to help you stay healthy. In addition to helping improve your oral health, SuperTeeth Dental Probiotic + ENT can help build up your immune defenses as well.

HOW IT WORKS

Streptococcus salivarius K12 probiotic produces two bacteriocins, Salivaricin A2 and salivaricin B, which can help combat Streptococcus pyogenes, the bacteria that causes strep throat, acute otitis media (acute middle ear infections) and sinus infections.

Studies also suggest that S. salivarius K12 supplementation can increase Secretory IgA (sIgA) levels. sIgA is an antibody found in mucosal secretions like saliva, tears, and those lining the digestive and respiratory tracts. It acts as a first line of defense against pathogens and toxins by neutralizing them before they can enter the body and improves mucosal barrier function, potentially enhancing the body's ability to fight off infections.

HOW LONG IT TAKES TO SEE RESULTS

Clinical studies suggest that between 30-90 days of consistent daily use of Streptococcus salivarius K12 can decrease the occurrence of pharyngeal and streptococcal disease, and the benefits also extend to a reduction of non-streptococcal diseases, including tracheitis, viral pharyngitis, rhinitis, flu, laryngitis, acute otitis media, and enteritis.

HOW TO TAKE IT

Just like our traditional Dental Probiotic needs to be savored in the mouth to let the bacteria seed the oral cavity, so too does our Dental Probiotic + ENT need to dissolve in the mouth so the bacteria can make their home there. Your saliva will help disperse the bacteria to your mucosal membrane, which extends from your mouth up to your nose, into your ears, down your throat, and throughout your upper respiratory tract.
