WHAT IS A DENTAL PROBIOTIC?
A dental probiotic increases the levels of natural and beneficial bacteria in the mouth to support teeth and gums, as well as overall health and wellness. Most people lack sufficient beneficial bacteria in their mouths to keep harmful bacteria in check, so that's why it is important to supplement with a dental probiotic.
HOW DO I TAKE A DENTAL PROBIOTIC?
We recommend savoring 1 tablet 1-2 times a day in your mouth after brushing and flossing and when eating or drinking can be avoided for 30 minutes after. This gives the beneficial bacteria a chance to colonize in your mouth without being flushed away by food or drink.
WHO SHOULD TAKE SUPER TEETH DENTAL PROBIOTIC?
Our dental probiotic is designed for both children and adults, and the dose is the same for both as well. How easy is that?!
WHEN SHOULD I TAKE IT?
We recommend taking it right after brushing and flossing for a maximum clean surface area for bacteria to colonize.
CAN SUPER TEETH DENTAL PROBIOTICS IMPROVE MY OVERALL HEALTH?
Scientists have found a strong connection between oral health and overall health. The mouth is the gateway to the body and is systemically connected to the digestive, cardiovascular and nervous systems, to name a few. Studies have suggested that oral bacteria and the inflammation associated with gum disease might play a role in several other diseases.
IS IT SAFE FOR CHILDREN TO TAKE?
Yes! Our dental probiotic is safe for children, but we always recommend checking with your pediatrician if you have any concerns. We also recommend parents use their best judgement as to whether the mints may be a choking hazard, however they may be cut or crushed for small children.
IS IT SAFE TO TAKE DURING PREGNANCY OR NURSING?
Yes, and we actually recommend it! Studies have shown that a mother's oral bacteria may be linked to the bacteria that initially inhabits her baby. If you do have any concerns though, we always recommend checking with your doctor first.
IS IT SAFE FOR ANIMALS?
Unfortunately, no. Our fresh minty flavor is enhanced by xylitol, which is toxic to dogs and other animals.
HOW MUCH XYLITOL IS IN EACH TABLET?
If your furry friend has gotten into your probiotics, tell your veterinarian there are 498mg of xylitol in each tablet.
IS IT VEGAN?
Our product does not contain any animal byproducts, however our bacteria strains are fermented in dairy. No dairy remains when the bacteria are extracted from the fermentation process, however trace amounts might be detected which is why we include "Contains Milk" on our label.
IS IT GLUTEN-FREE?

WHERE ARE SUPER TEETH DENTAL PROBIOTIC MADE?
Our mints are made in the USA but our Streptococcus salivarius M18 bacteria are from New Zealand.
DOES IT REPLACE DIGESTIVE PROBIOTICS?
No, the beneficial bacteria strains in our dental probiotics are designed specifically for the mouth with benefits that pertain to the teeth, gums and oral cavity.
DO THE PROBIOTICS REQUIRE REFRIGERATION?
No. Our dental probiotics can be stored at room temperature.
HOW DO THE BACTERIA STAY ALIVE IF THEY ARE NOT REFRIGERATED?
Our bacteria are in a dormant state while they are in the bottle. As soon as they make contact with your saliva they activate and begin to colonize.

HOW MUCH IS SHIPPING?
Shipping is free for domestic orders of $50 or more. For domestic orders under $50, there is a standard $3.50 shipping charge applied to every order. Similarly, shipping is free for international orders of $70 or more. For international orders under $70, there is a standard $15 shipping charge applied to every order.
DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?
We currently ship to all of the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. We hope to be able to ship everywhere else soon!
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO SHIP MY PACKAGE?
Orders usually process within 1-3 business days and are shipped via standard shipping, 4-7 business days.
WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?
We have a 30-day refund policy on first time orders only, which means you have 30 days after receiving your initial order to request a refund of up to a maximum of $50 USD. Refunds exclude shipping and handling costs, VAT, and duties. We do not offer refunds on subsequent orders, however you may cancel your subscription at any time through your account.
