How it works.

Nano-hydroxyapatite is a smaller hydroxyapatite molecule that effectively remineralizes tooth enamel and reduces sensitivity. Combined with 5% sodium bicarbonate, our Whitening Prebiotic Toothpaste naturally whitens your smile. If you sip morning coffee, eat acidic foods, or even grind your teeth at night— your teeth may be less than pearly white.  This is due to surface staining and damage to the enamel.  Nano-hydroxyapatite works to whiten teeth by filling in microscopic holes in the enamel for a smoother, stronger, brighter surface, and sodium bicarbonate helps gently scrub away surface stains. 

Hydroxyapatite vs Nano-hydroxyapatite toothpaste: Why make the switch?

The nano-sized particles in our new formula are smaller than the micro-hydroxyapatite in our original toothpaste, allowing for deeper enamel remineralization at a lower concentration. This is especially helpful for those wanting to overcome chronic oral health symptoms so they can achieve better whitening, stronger teeth, and less sensitivity. While micro-hydroxyapatite is still effective at maintaining good oral health, Nano-hydroxyapatite targets more persistent issues.

Does it still contain prebiotics?

It does! Just like our micro formula, our new nano toothpaste uses chicory root powder to feed the beneficial bacteria in your mouth and promote a healthy oral microbiome.

How long does it take to see results?

It may take a few weeks or months of consistent use to notice a whiter, stronger, and less sensitive smile, depending on your diet and oral hygiene habits. Doing things the right way often takes time— and consistency is key!

What % of nano-hydroxyapatite do you use in your toothpaste?

Our Whitening Prebiotic Toothpaste has a 2.325% nHAp. We use NanoXIM, a highly effective Nano-hydroxyapatite produced in Europe renowned for its safety and efficacy. Studies show that a 1-3% concentration of NanoXIM provides optimal remineralization, whitening, and sensitivity relief, without side effects. 

Safe for pregnancy/breastfeeding?

Yes! NanoXIM is the only type of Nano-hydroxyapatite approved by the Scientific Committee on Consumer Safety. We have many pregnant and breastfeeding customers who love using SuperTeeth Whitening Toothpaste to support their oral health through the different seasons of motherhood. Of course, we advise that you consult your healthcare team if you have specific concerns about ingredients in your routine.

Can kids use it?

While NanoXIM is safe for kids to use as it is approved by the Scientific Committee on Consumer Safety, we recommend our more kid-friendly flavors like Strawberry and Mint, which are available in our Mineral Prebiotic Toothpaste collection and contain the more natural micro-hydroxyapatite.
